Work With Me

Every session is built around the same foundation — safety first, then the body, then whatever needs to move through you. What that looks like depends on who you are and what you're carrying.

1:1 Somatic Therapy - Adults

For people moving through grief, burnout, anxiety, trauma, or a major life transition - or those who just need some extra support.

Sessions combine somatic movement, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practice to help you feel what's actually happening in your body, and build the tools to work with it instead of against it.

What a session can include:

  • A grounding practice to arrive and settle

  • Space to share what's present for you right now

  • Gentle guided movement or stillness — whatever your body needs

  • Somatic processing of what's held in the body, at a pace that feels safe

  • Time to integrate and reflect before you leave

For teenagers navigating anxiety, low mood, or overwhelm who find it hard to put what they're feeling into words.

Teenagers often carry a lot in their bodies before they have language for it — a tight chest, restlessness, exhaustion, shutting down. These sessions offer a calm, non-judgmental space to explore what's happening beneath the surface, using movement, grounding, and age-appropriate somatic tools.

A few important things:

  • I am a somatic and trauma-informed practitioner — I offer supportive, body-based sessions, but I don't diagnose or treat mental illness. If a teenager needs clinical mental health support, I'll help connect your family with the right people alongside this work.

  • Sessions for under-18s require a short intake conversation and parental consent before we begin.

  • I'll always be clear with you about what is and isn't kept confidential between your teenager and you as a parent — we'll agree on this together at the start.

Somatic Support for Teens/Kids

For those who feel supported by community as much as individual work. Small groups (4–8 people) move through somatic practice, movement, and reflection together — a space to feel less alone in what you're carrying.

Groups run periodically in Wānaka — join the waitlist to hear when the next one opens.
