Somatic therapy For everything your body has been carrying, quietly, on its own

The Ethos
You don't need more fixing. You need support that meets your whole self — not just your thoughts, but your body, your nervous system, the parts of you that words don't always reach.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and big life transitions — using somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practice to help you come back to yourself.
I get it — life makes us feel. Whether that's too much to hold, or barely anything at all, we'll work together to find your sweet spot.
When we move with awareness, we return home to ourselves.

Navigating grief, burnout, anxiety, or a major life transition? Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with your body and your sense of self — not just talk about what's wrong, but actually feel different.
-
Anxiety and low mood can feel impossible to explain in words. I offer a gentle, body-based space where teens can process what they're carrying — alongside their existing support, not instead of it.
(Neurodiverse / Neurotypical - kids/teens welcome)

I offer small therapeutic groups and online 1:1 sessions for those outside Wānaka or wanting a different format.
Who this is for
My approach draws on Dance Movement Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and trauma-informed nervous system regulation — combined with my years of experience as a Yoga teacher and Somatic dance facilitator.
At the centre of all of it is you. I work in a person-centred way, which means you lead — I'm not here to direct your healing, just to walk alongside it and offer tools when they're useful.
Movement isn't new to me; it's been my own way of understanding the body for a long time, long before it turned into my therapy practice.
All of it is held within a simple idea: your body already knows how to heal. My job is to help you get out of your own way long enough to let that happen.
How I Work
The body says what words cannot.
